Welcome to Day 1 ~ Keeping Your Promises

Your life changes when your body and mind are working together in alignment, not fighting against each other. Your body changes when it can trust your words. Safe is trusting the path not pushing against with judgement and doubt.

Creating an alignment mind/body starts with trust. You need to be able to trust yourself when you say you will do something. Every time you break a promise, your body keeps the score. Let's stop that.

Watch today's video and then come back to do the practices and journal prompt.

Day 1 Practice:

Make one small, guaranteed promise and keep it. Commit to yourself. Just for today, don’t worry about tomorrow or the rest of your life. Just for today I will… It can be and might be better to start small but NEW. Try on a new promise but make it doable. The goal for today is to challenge yourself with the promise, the commitment itself not by making it so big it's overwhelming.

Write it down in your journal. What is the commitment and why is it a challenge for you?

Day 1 Journal Prompt:

What helps me feel safe enough to follow through? What conditions do I currently need to be able to do what I say I am going to do? Where I haven't followed through in the past that hasn't served me?
